Our Story
Captain's Room sits where Exchange Street meets the water — a place that has welcomed locals and visitors alike for generations. We don't chase trends. We serve food that tastes like it was made with care, in a room where you can actually hear yourself think.
Our kitchen sources from regional farms and local fisheries whenever the season allows. Our bar pours craft cocktails that pair as well with a quiet evening as they do with a celebration. And our view of Seneca Lake? That comes free with every seat.

Captain's Room is located on Exchange Street, just steps from Geneva's historic downtown and the shores of Seneca Lake. Whether you're joining us for a quick lunch, a romantic dinner, or a weekend celebration, we have a place for you.
Our terrace is open May through October — weather permitting — and offers the best sunset views on the lake. Reservations are recommended for dinner and weekend brunch.
